2012 Retreat
| FACILITIES The RR Retreat is built on a 12.75 acre tract of land originally proposed for the Capitol of Texas. It is part of a working cattle ranch in the heart of Texas and not far from the site of that famous La Grange Chicken Ranch. We are atop a hill which was home to the oldest Czech settlement in Texas. Our RR Retreat Lodge has been remodeled and is purpose built for gatherings. It is ideal for ladies craft and church groups. We have ramp access next to the drive for ease in unloading. There is plenty of parking. The downstairs is wheelchair accessible. The Lodge boasts an 800 square foot Great Room, a large Kitchen/Dining area, four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and laundry facilities. We can accommodate a maximum of 22 guests. There is a covered porch on three sides of the Lodge with plenty of lounge chairs. The view of the Colorado Valley is beautiful. The Lodge is a non-smoking facility. . |
